slow site loads and updates

I think I have fingered the culprit for my slow site loads these last few days. Although, I am reminded of times when I have said I have fixed a problem only to have it recur so I say that tentatively and hope for the best. It occurred to me that I never see many comments here on site and furthermore I never use the CommentLuv plugin .. I didn’t even know where it appeared on the page. And I ..read more

doing better

The sub-conscious registered today that hubby isn’t on nights or 24-hour shift. It made me realize how empty this little house can feel. I had thought to do some housework, but I ended up spending ALL day in-game instead. It helped to keep me occupied.

So I had to start the car’s heater and back window defogger, scrape off the windows and bundle up before I headed out. That was fun .. and although it was easy with flurries,  I cannot imagine what it will be like to do ..read more

the spay

Yesterday, I took Nala to the vet to get spayed.  I knew it was going to be a traumatic day, but the first inkling of just HOW traumatic came when I watched them take her away in the carrier. I literally felt like screaming and yelling and saying “I WILL NOT LEAVE HER. LET ME STAY WITH HER PLEASE!” Well, they surprised me by smiling and saying to me “Don’t worry, she’ll be fine. Come back for her about 3 ..read more
