the .: fyr :. light

I don’t know if anyone who still reads me remembers that I had sold one of my photographs a year or so ago. It was to an artist who wanted to use the image for a novel cover. She (he?) asked permission to modify it slightly but adding deeper water, a darker sky and some birds… but she (he?) paid me for it anyway. I was so shocked, I just said “Sure”

I insisted that I wanted my name on the copyright page and a copy of the novel when it was printed. I still am waiting for my bonus copy of the book … but today I walked into Barnes and Noble and there it was, staring at me from the new paperback stand at the entrance.

I had to get it … just cos I was SO excited to see my name in print… .can you believe it?
