the .: fyr :. light

That my last post may have been useless to my Caribbean readers … I sent an identical link to a friend (different song) and was told that they received a message that the song was not available for that region.

The reason why I had to mention this especially is because having got that message myself SEVERAL times in the past, I commiserate and would like to apologize to my readers while taking up the cause … WHY should something be unavailable to the Caribbean? What exactly is the reasoning behind restricting us? It makes NO sense – it’s not like there is a loss of revenue for showing this stuff …. in fact, let me make a direct statement to those authorities:  I’d say that by restricting viewership this way you are DEFINITELY losing income. People want this stuff and you aren’t providing them with it … so you’re losing income.

Come on people – this is stupid.

Not that I think MY opinion will make a difference …. but I guess I am hoping that this post serves as the proverbial pebble being rolled down a mountain. Maybe by the time it gets to the bottom it’ll be a boulder. What say you?
