And I look at my camera and realize that I took NO photos this week. How odd. I was too busy driving and showing hubby2B around. He, on the other hand, took MANY photos… some of me looking as goofy as ever. So I’ll share a couple of his with youse.
We really didn’t spend a lot of time taking photos. We spent the first 2 days on the beach. Yea. Seriously. No joke. Then because hubby2B got BADLY sunburnt and I got a little sun-drunk, we stayed inside the next couple of days … Seriously. It was huge fun. I’d recommend Sandals MoBay to anyone who’s not a yaadie. You stay on the hip strip and you’re kinda right within walking distance of stuff in and around MoBay so you can actually SEE more than just the hotel. It’s perfect for those who aren’t mobile and who don’t know the country. For us yaadies? Go to Runaway Bay instead – MUCH quieter, larger property, more privacy (I think). Problem with Runaway Bay is ya gotta have wheels to make it worthwhile. That’s all.
We didn’t stop anywhere. We neither of us really wanted to stop on the way down and we were rushing when we were coming back. Pity. He’s SO going to get teased about coming to Jamaica and not seeing Dunn’s River Falls. heh. In any case, we head out again today to Firefly. That should be a good stint. I can’t wait. I am not so tired anymore either – we slept like babies down there. Amazingly.
It hasn’t rained ONCE. We were supposedly expecting some kind of system to bring thunderstorms etc this week just past. No such luck. Not a drop of rain in sight for either Montego Bay OR Kingston. Hot as all hell – gawrsh.
