This is an always reblog- I think this is the third time it’s been on my blog. The source is Ampersand by Barry Deutsch, by the way- I highly recommend reading his work. I’ve added the click-through to his political cartoon site.

I wish I could finish that conversation with you this evening before you signed off. I was going to suggest that I'm in dire need of a vacation (the one to Colorado doesn't count, I will be taking care of a sick grandmother(
But, the reason I was looking up properties was to suggest that you ad I, sisters on holiday together, to Jamaica. I want to see the old ship, I want to see Fire Fly, I want to see the mountains, and I want to be there with you. There is definitely a reason I have a saving account and with you not working quiet yet it's such a perfect time. I want to meet your folks, that is, if they don't still hate me.
How about it. Yolospat and Fyrfli on holiday at home.

If you miss the mountains then I suggest heading down to Austin area and take a drive through the hill country. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Texas_Hill_Country , it isn't the same as going to Colorado, but I think you would like it.

Sounds so good, hun. So good. Have to talk to you about that later on – when things are a little less uncertain.
